About Me

I'm Harriet Roberts, a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, with qualifications from the award winning and highly reputable Clifton Practice.

The main goal and focus of my work is to help individuals overcome life challenges including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, PTSD, addictions and sleep disorders.  I also work with those who want to improve their performance in a particular aspect of their life, whether in the work place, for exams, on the stage or in sports.

With my solution-focused approach, I have helped and supported many people like you to achieve their goals and live better, more fulfilling lives.   In my sessions, whether they be in-person or online, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment allowing you to explore your inner self and inner resources, and work together towards positive change.

I'd describe myself as warm, down-to-earth and easy to talk to.  I know that opening up to someone new can feel daunting, so I am to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood and never judged.  I work in an intuitive and compassionate way, really listening to what's going on for you, while gently guiding things forward. And whilst I take the work we do very seriously, I also believe in bringing a sense of lightness where it feels right - because sometimes a little bit of humour can make things feel much easier.

If you're looking for a compassionate and personable therapist to guide you on your journey towards a better life, then please go ahead and get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.

A few things about me...

  • I'm a mum to three young children, so I understand just how full and fast-paced life can feel

  • I have my own lived experience of anxiety and low mood, which gives me a deep understanding of what it's like

  • I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, which has given me real insight and understanding into how differently our minds can work

  • I have a strong awareness of neurodivergence, both in adults and children

  • I also have personal experience of PMDD and perimenopause, and understand the impact hormonal changes can have on how you feel
